Clan of the Cave Mice

Introduction

Long, long ago a clan of mice lived in these caves. Tensions arose over food sharing, and when monsters appeared, community dissolved. Mouse accused mouse of stealing food and feuds destroyed trust. Intruding monsters breached their defence and pushed them out of the caves. The mice escaped into the Lost Valley and collapsed the passage behind. Instead of bonding over the brave escape, the mice still could not overcome their petty arguments and the clan split in twain.

Monsters still linger there.

Description

This is an adventure module for the Mausritter RPG featuring:

• an exploration of painted caverns
• rat adventurers competing with the player characters
• a spiney snake that hungers for the mice
• new items and a new spell
• 7 new creatures -- some friendly and some not-so-friendly

Ways to use this module:

• In the Earldom of Ek (Mausritter core book), the cave is the mushroom grotto of hex 17.
• In the Principality of Lord Razortalon (Adventures Continue game jam), the cave is in the canyons of hex 11.
